History
I became a first time BMW M3 owner in 1999 when I test-drove a 95 M3 (Dakar Yellow of course). I thoroughly enjoyed the test drive and told the salesman I would be back the next day with an offer. The next day the car had been sold and I had a decision to make - look for another used M3 or order a new Dakar Yellow one. In the spring of 1999 a BMW rep showed up at my office with a new M3 for final signatures and to hand over the keys to me.
That spring, driving the Northwest roads and few tour events with the BMW club, I started to understand what kind of "Ultimate Driving Machine" I had bought. I wanted more! With several years of conference racing, I checked out the High Performance Driving School sponsored by the BMW Club and spent most of the year learning how to drive my M3 on the track from the club's instructors and several conference drivers.
The following spring I started looking into performance upgrades. With the knowledge from my past racing, help from BMW club members and local performance shops the list start to grow as noted above and is still growing.
Currently, I am instructor for the BMW Club and also part of the Kahn team racing.
